How It All Began

Marcela Belovska SEO DIDIT

“You should be doing this for a living.”

That’s what a friend told our CEO, Marcela Bělovská, after she arranged a tire change and babysat some painters — so she could actually focus on running a charity event.

Turns out, she was right.

Twenty Years of Getting Stuff Done
Marcela spent two decades between New York and Prague, managing projects, coordinating teams, and handling the kind of chaos that makes other people’s heads spin. When COVID hit pause on everything, she wondered: What now? How could she use her experience to help people in a new way and give herself a new direction?

That phone call gave her the answer.

DIDIT was never meant to be just a one-person project at a kitchen table. Marcela dove in headfirst. By the next morning, she was on the phone with her accountant to set up the company; that afternoon, a friend was drafting the website.

DIDIT Launched Before It Even Existed
The first client came before the website even launched. While strolling through her area in Prague, Marcela asked a struggling new neighbor: “Do you need some help?” Turned out she needed a parking permit but had no idea where to start. Marcela — now DIDIT in action — handled everything, and within a week, the permit was in the neighbor’s hands.

What We Actually Do
And so DIDIT began. Initially helping mainly expats navigate Czech bureaucracy, but soon doing much more. Now we handle everything: official documents and translations, doctor appointments, handyman coordination, moving geckos to new apartments (yes, really), and all those tasks you could do yourself… but honestly, do you have time for it and — mainly — do you want to do it?

We’re not a translation agency. We’re not a handyman service. But! We’re your bestie who knows where to get them and how things work here — and actually gets them done.

“Anyone can google a plumber,” Marcela says. “But then you need to check availability, negotiate price, be home when they show up; all while trying to finish an important presentation at work. We take it off your plate. So you can focus on what matters.”
